20+ years of professional experience across photography and retouching. His core retouching background comes from 16 years as Color Retoucher and Premedia specialist at Meredith Corporation, leading image retouching and post-processing for Better Homes & Gardens and other titles — covering interiors, fashion, product, and food photography, plus cover production and serving as the department’s primary technical resource.
Fluent across the full Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, and non-destructive workflows — expertise later formalized while teaching Advanced Imaging Techniques (compositing, color theory, complex retouching) as an adjunct professor. Separately, as a freelance photographer since 2007, he’s shot for brands including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Karl Lagerfeld, giving him a photographer’s eye for what retouching needs to preserve and enhance.
