I was born in 1989 and grew up in Detmold, Germany, went to school and started working. After a while I quit my regular day job to travel Europe for one reason; to tell stories. I have always been fascinated by good storytellers; my uncle was one of those storytellers. I remember a time when he and I went to the harbour of Hamburg and he told me captivating stories about the way it used to be in the good old days. Oh dear, how I loved every bit of his stories. Well, now it is my time to tell the stories but in a slightly different way – with my camera. I am based in Bochum but I constantly travel and see the world. My aim is to expand my awareness and capture the fleeting moments, the ones in-between.
