You should Book some hotel atleast for one night or give adress of some family friends because during Corona times they May need to contact you. If you are asking for visa then best is get invitation letter. I got invitation from American orthopaedic association for attending there courses in 2012 in Chicago and that was sufficient to get me Visa.
