Jean Nicolas Arthur Rimbaud (1854-1891) war ein französischer Dichter der am 15. Mai 1871, in einem Brief an Paul Demeny schrieb: »Car Je est un autre« zu deutsch »Ich ist ein Anderer«. Dieses Zitat war Denkanstoß und dient nun als Titel dieser Arbeit. Sie thematisiert das Gefühl der Fremde im eigenen Körper. Die Originalbilder haben eine Größe von 29,7 × 42 cm.
