Düsseldorf as a fashion location has a long-standing, international and still exciting tradition. With its numerous fashion fairs and showrooms, the city has been an important destination for global and national exhibitors, buyers, brands, investors and start-ups.
To simplify the first step of the ordering process, Gooqx teamed up with Fashion Net to create an app, offering access to the database of all local fashion industry players in the city. Categorising the app by brands and goods, as well as integrating a route planning feature for visitors. Launched last season, this app will be a guide to every fashion professional, wishing to conduct business in Düsseldorf in a more efficient and user-friendly way.

Gooqx created the concept and logo, developed the UI and UX design of the app and additionally relaunched the website, as well as the design of various print media, accompanying the launch of the app.

When tackling this juggernaut of a project, we had to do a lot of planning ahead.

One of the most important steps was to create a unified API, that would allow us to access one common database from two projects (website on one hand and mobile application on the other), which differed immensely in their respective structures.

Vue JS was our main JavaScript Framework for the Fashion Net Website, offering us state-of-the-art component-based patterns to reduce code duplication as much as possible and keep the code clear and legible.
