An Idea of Luxury | Hauptbahnhof Zürich
The theme of the imaginary journey as a luxury of the mind is coupled here with the symbolism of the eye both receiver and emitter.
The essence of the performance was to transport the audience in another universe while on their way to another destination, we thought the train station would create the perfect mindset for this journey.
The films of Méliès and the birth of the Fantasy films were a grand inspiration for the oversized decors and costumes, part of the elements were created in our studio, such as costumes and some of the paintings and later assembled + painted the rest live in Zürich.
